Stormflower

A dramatic granulating and separating paint. It goes on purple and, as it dries, separates into a beautiful electric blue and violet-pink. You can get completely different effects by changing the concentration, from soft washes to beautiful, complex shadows using just one color.

Each pan is handmade in small batches with artist-grade pigments, gum arabic, honey and clove oil. No fillers.

Excellent lightfastness.

My specialty colors are made in very small batches. Many use unusual or premium pigments, and rather than producing them continuously, I make a limited number when inspiration strikes.

Sold out doesn’t necessarily mean gone. Most can be made again by request. Please allow about three weeks for your color to be made, poured and fully dried.
